I had the pleasure of being his TA in 2012, my first year as a Masters student in history. I found his lectures full of wit and humor, most of which was lost by a good portion of the undergraduate crowd. He was always someone I could get an honest opinion from without worry of politics within academia. My prayers and thoughts are with his family (Eric Denby)
